MAKE A SARCOPHAGUS AND MUMMY
Saturday November 21, 9:30 – 11:30am
Each child will make a mummy by taking a cardboard figure and wrapping it with fabric as they did in ancient Egypt. The mummy will be decorated with beads and placed in a sarcophagus. In Egypt these were made from a cardboard-like substance. We will each make our sarcophagus from cardstock and decorate them with a drawing and highlight it with hieroglyphics.

FLEXAGONS
Wednesday, December 2, 6:30 – 9:30pm
It’s no surprise that flexagons were invented by a mathematician, someone who could hide secret pages for books and make them reappear with a few turns of the page. We’ll make at least four kinds of flexagons and get a head start on developing content for them.
