THE ART OF REMEMBRANCE: DAYS OF THE DEAD 2009
COMMUNITY EVENT:Saturday, October 24th, 11:00am to 6:00pm.
Activities all day at Meek Mansion. This will be a spectacular community event with Mariachis, dancers, all kinds of activities for all ages, art tables, and a marketplace all at Meek Park surrounding the Mansion.

Sunday, November 1st. 10am – 4pm
Decorate a wooden skeleton with paint, fabric, ribbons, beads and all kinds of things. We’ll share some hot chocolate and bread for the dead. Bring a bag lunch. $20 covers all materials.
Bonus: At 1pm I will teach how to make a small Day of the Dead altar for a little skeleton scene, as well as a small skeleton. $10 extra for materials.
